The Midnight Visitor (Museum Kittens)
If you’re someone who can enjoy reading just about any book once, you might like The Midnight Visitor, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. It’s definitely for much younger kids who are just learning to read chapter books. The storyline is not very engaging, but it’s a quick read just the same.
When you read the synopsis, finding that it’s a tale about kittens on an adventure, you really want to like it, but there are just so many better books out there. I suppose it would be a helpful book for kids who are trying to understand different social situations through the eyes of cats in a museum, but for this level of reading and arena of whimsy, I’d more highly recommend something along the lines of Rainbow Magic, Sophie Mouse, or The Kingdom of Wrenly.
