The Broken Spell
Five witches, named Addie, Rachel, Grace, Jenny, and Una, are all friends. Their new teacher Ms. Gold is a witch just like them, and they ask her to help them learn how to use their magic. They have a lot of fun with her until their other teachers find out Ms. Gold has been teaching them. They get very angry and refuse to teach the girls anymore. Grace has gone back into the past and accidentally brought a man, called Bob, back into the future. She realizes her mistake after it’s too late. She and her friends must get Bob back to his own time, and also save him from Ms. Gold, who turns out to be not what she seemed.
This book was interesting because it had a lot of magic, which I really like, and I liked how the girls wanted to do the magic but they wanted to be careful when they used it. It was fun how a lot of people turned out to be not the way they seemed, but the girls should only trust those who they know really well, as well as the people who they knew really well also knew really well.
