Sublime

The story is an interesting premise about a girl who mysteriously ends up at the gates of a boarding school, with no idea how she got there. Lucy meets the ultra-beautiful, Colin, who she realizes is the boy she was meant to meet. They become closer and closer when Lucy starts remembering both her life and her death. Colin is an adrenaline junkie and he discovers that when he comes to the very brink of death, he’s able to physically be with Lucy. But maybe that’s not such a good idea. All they want is to be together and the more time they spend with each other, the more they realize that may never happen. There were times in the book that I felt like the story dragged. For the most part though, I as a reader was entertained. Sublime is so haunting that I stayed up until the wee hours of the night just to finish. The book itself was wonderfully written, with characters that are simply lovely. All YA paranormal fans shouldn’t have a problem getting into this one.
