Sorry, Snail

One day, Ms. Snail was innocently eating vegetables in Ari’s garden. However, Ari was grumpy and mad and took out her anger on Ms. Snail by insulting her. Now Ms. Snail was feeling hurt, so she and her snail friends ruined Ari’s day by following her around and demanding an apology. Can Ari and Ms. Snail just pull it together and become friends?

I loved how humorous and beautiful this story was. I also really liked how the drawings looked like they were drawn with different materials and mediums, like how Ari’s cheeks were drawn with crayons. My favorite character was Ms. Snail because I think she is what makes the book silly. My favorite part was when Ms. Snail and her friends chased Ari slowly for snail justice. I recommend this book to people who like snails and to anyone who wants to know just how important it is to apologize.
