Rosie the Truffle Hound

Rosie’s human family sells truffles, but they’re the kind that is poisonous to dogs. The truffles smell divine, and Rosie has a great sense of smell, but she cannot eat any of them since they’re poisonous to her. Rosie decides to run away and look for a job. She tries multiple jobs, but none seem to be the right fit. Will Rosie be able to find a job that will make her happy?

This is a very cute book about a poodle who leaves her family in search of happiness and purpose. She eventually finds a job that is fulfilling to her, but she’s lonely without her family. Luckily, Rosie is able to find happiness in the end. I think it’s interesting that this story is about a dog who hunts for truffles. I like that the book includes a recipe for chocolate truffles and a truffle pasta. I think children who love stories about dogs will enjoy this interesting story.
