Petal and Poppy (Green Light Readers Level 2)

This is a book about Petal and Poppy. Petal is an elephant who is practicing her tuba, she is also a worrywart. Poppy, Petal’s friend, is a rhino who likes to scuba dive. First, Petal wants to practice her tuba. Poppy decides to go scuba diving so she doesn’t have to listen to the tuba. Then, Petal starts to worry about all the things that might happen to Poppy. Petal decides to go find her and go with her. Next, Petal plays her tuba in the boat while Poppy is scuba diving. Finally, Poppy is lost because it is foggy, but Poppy is able to hear the tuba playing and find the boat. Poppy and Petal are friends and they helped each other. I did not like how the book was written. All of the words were in captions. This book was easy for me to read. Some kids might like this book a little bit.
