One Grumpy Day

One Grumpy Day is in the Little Hedgehog and Friends series and is the story of a grumpy fox and a very helpful hedgehog. One winter day, Hedgehog is out in the snow, looking for mistletoe, and runs into Fox, who is not in a good mood. The fox has had many bad things happen to him already this day and does not feel up to being cheerful. The hedgehog and other forest friends they meet while out and about share what helps them get in a better mood. With everyone’s help, they get Fox in a good mood and then remember how to stay in a good mood themselves!

One Grumpy Day is a story about friendship and helping others, even when they don’t act very kindly toward you. The story is cheerful, and the pictures are bright and fill up the pages. Kids of any age will like this story because it has a good lesson and all kids get grumpy now and then. I bet the others in the series are just as good.
