MR Moon Wakes Up (Child’s Play Library)

There was a girl and her kangaroo named Mr. Moon. Mr. Moon always sleeps. He sleeps through the day when the girl plays games, or has tea parties, or does puzzles, or whatever she does. One night she carries him to bed, and Mr. Moon wakes up and climbs into the wallpaper! The girl follows him and finds out that Mr. Moon does a lot of fun things at night! He plays in a beautiful garden and makes friends with the statues that come to life. He plays picnics and he plays chess. He goes through a huge hedge maze puzzle. Finally the girl feels a little sleepy, so Mr. Moon carries her to bed!

I like this book because this book is very interesting and fun. I like the illustrating and the pictures, because it looks like everything happens at night or at dawn. It would be fun to go through the wallpaper with Mr. Moon. I would love to play a game of life-sized chess and have a tea party at night. This book is magic.
