Monster Needs Your Vote (Monster & Me)

I love all the Monster needs a… books. I have Monster needs a party, Monster needs a Christmas tree, and Monster needs his sleep. I want to get Monster needs a costume, maybe this Halloween I will get it.

This story is about Monster getting ready to vote but when he finds out he is too young to vote, he decide to run for President instead. He needed to come up with a good issue for people to want to vote for him. When he finds out the local library is closing, monster has found his movement and knows what he needs to do. In case you’re not yet familiar with these books you need to get a copy of any or all of the Monster and me books and start enjoying.

The Monster Needs Your Vote story taught me more about the voting and election process in America. My favorite part was at the end when he learned the importance of taking a stand in something you believe in is such a great way to make a difference. I would definitely tell my friends to read this book, I will even let them borrow mine. It’s that good!!!
