Minecraft: The Village: An Official Minecraft Novel

Minecraft: The Village is the third Minecraft book in this trilogy by Max Brooks. It continues the adventures of Guy and Summer. Guy and Summer cross the Overworld and discover a community of villagers. But trouble is brewing for the community, and it will take everything Summer and Guy have learned to save the village.

I loved the whole trilogy. I really love stories set in the Minecraft world, because of all the shapes that can be made out of the same cubes. Guy and Summer face pillagers and assorted mobs. They have to overcome raid obstacles. And their projects sometimes fail.

This book surprised me because it taught me things about Minecraft that I didn’t know, even though I’m a huge fan and play every week. Max Brooks is a really good writer and I enjoy his books more than other Minecraft novels. Even though I love Minecraft novels.

I felt like this book had a lot to share, not only about Minecraft, but also about, like, life. Guy and Summer taught me to always shop using a budget, everyone has a role to play, and growth doesn’t happen in a comfort zone, it comes from leaving it.
