Komi Can’t Communicate, Vol. 24

Shoko Komi has severe social anxiety, so she finds it difficult to speak to others. It’s almost the end of the school year, and Komi and Tadano wonder if they should go out on their first date. Follow Komi as she and her friends go outfit picking, and follow Tadano as Komi’s father puts him through a drilling test to see if he’s good enough for her. What happens when the two both start doubting themselves that they really aren’t good enough for each other?

Komi Can’t Communicate is probably my favorite manga series! It’s really funny and I find some of the characters (especially Fushima) relatable. As for the illustrations, I find it super adorable and the creator’s art style has improved so much compared to the first volume they did. Manga artwork in general is so detailed that I wonder how long it takes to draw each and every panel! I really recommend this series to people who feel like Komi sometimes. Maybe they’ll find it relatable as well.
