Shifter
The first thing you are going to want to do when you get this book is just flip through the book and look at all of the awesome artwork. Each page is full color and glossy. They artwork is super detailed and in one frame you can even see a guy’s sweat on his face. There is one page of just eight frames with eyes of animals that really caught my…eye. As you read the story, you will get a history and science lesson too and it makes you think about a lot of issues that are going on in the world. Of course, this is a science fiction graphic novel and you will deal with a super computer, which is you and you can take over the bodies of other species that are in a sleep-like state. Page after page you hop into different bodies and try them out, feeling and thinking what they feel and trying to not be killed. Then he hops into a girl’s body trying to get a message to his friends and fiancé what happened to him, but her body is a fighter and from here the story plays out like the video game Heavy Rain. I really liked this book a lot. It was unique and the artwork alone is worth buying it!
