Just Like Me, Climbing a Tree: Exploring Trees Around the World
Just Like Me, Climbing a Tree is about kids climbing trees all over the world. It says the things you can do in tree, like leap like a leopard, hang like a bat, sleep in the canopy like a sloth, and pick ripe fruit. This book shows the things you can see in trees. For each tree in the book, there is an information box to show what type of tree it is, its scientific name, and where it is from. For each tree, there is a kid is from that place in the world, and they all look different and have different clothes on. At the back of book, there were two pages with information about each tree.
I liked Just Like Me, Climbing a Tree. While reading, I kept flipping back to the map at the front of the book, to see where that country was in the world. I learned where Cambodia and Holland are in the world. My favorite tree was the olive tree because it has holes and I think it would be great for geocaching. It was neat that there was a southern live oak, which I have at my house in Texas.
