In the Afterlight: A Darkest Minds Novel

You don’t want to miss out on the dramatic conclusion as Ruby and gang take on the roll of a lifetime. Taking down the President is no easy task, not by a long shot. Will the gang be able to pull off what seems like the impossible? Or will they ultimately go down in flames; no pun intended?

This was a great series finale. I felt everything was closed as it should have and if it’s even possible, I fell more in love with the characters we’ve been with on this epic journey. Even though some things ended in a way that made me sad, I think the story ended perfectly. There was the signature action that keeps a reader engaged and the romance was nicely done, as always. I think what I’ll miss most about the trilogy though, is the deep-rooted friendship between the main characters. I like how, even though they fight and don’t always agree with each other, they’re still there when one needs the other. I highly recommend this addictive series and I’m very sad to see it go.
