Ice Cream Everywhere: Sweet Stories from Around the World
I am pretty sure that ice cream is a food that almost anyone can agree that they enjoy, even if they like different flavors and ways of eating it. Ice Cream Everywhere tells about people around the world who eat and make ice cream and how they eat it. From eating gelato in Italy and Germany to hokey pokey in New Zealand, everyone agrees that the sweet yumminess of their version of ice cream puts a smile on their face!
I learned so much from Ice Cream Everywhere! I am only familiar with ice cream, custard, and frozen yogurt in America being eaten as sundaes, shakes, cones, etc. Hokey Pokey, Kulfi, Bouza, and Maras are some of the several types of ice cream made and served worldwide. If I had the opportunity, I would try any of them because they all look so good! Now I am hungry for ice cream, so I’ll have some for dessert!
