Heart of a Dolphin
One day, Annie sees a dolphin trapped in a fishing line down the beach from her house. She hurries to free the dolphin before it’s too late. This shows the fact that we need to be more careful with our trash in the ocean. After untangling the dolphin, everyone is excited but only Annie knows of the special bond between her and the dolphin, Squeak. The way Squeak and Annie play together is fascinating. Playing with a dolphin is a goal for all dolphin lovers, isn’t it?
When not swimming with Squeak, nothing seems to be going right for Annie. At home her parents are super busy and she is always stuck with her hyper brother who always tries to follow her everywhere. Annie’s best friend is starting to ditch her to hang out with very snobby Morgan, too. Then, she and Morgan miscommunicate, which puts Annie and her dolphin friend in danger. Will she and the dolphin be able to support each other when they each need it the most?
This book was good. I would rate it with four stars because while it was interesting, I probably won’t be reading it again too soon, though. This book would be a delight for any dolphin lover.
