Gemma & Gus (Gossie & Friends)

I read a sweet book called Gemma & Gus by Olivier Dunrea. I have already read some of this author’s books about other gosling friends, like Gossie, Peedie, and Booboo. I like this book because, in my family, I am the big sister and David is the little brother. In this book, Gemma is the big sister and Gus is the little brother. They are goslings, and their mom takes care of them. The pictures are bright and beautiful. They are paintings of the goslings and the places that they go. This book has little words, so it would be good for kids who are learning how to read. Maybe I can do the same things that Gemma and Gus do, like hunt for frogs in the cattails and explore new places. Gus wants to do what Gemma wants to do, and my brother David wants to do what I want to do! I think this is a good book for kids who like geese and stories about exploring new places. “Gus splashes in the pond. Gemma splashes too.” I am going to read this book to my brother David!
