Fun in the Sun

Fun in the Sun is about a dog who wants to go to the beach. So the dog packs everything he needs, including his goldfish in a fishbowl. Dog takes the bus to go to the beach. When he gets to the beach, he looks for a good spot. He finds a great spot but it is on a man’s fat belly. He needs to find a better spot. At the beach, he picnics, he swims and he floats like a boat. Everyone uses their hats as kites then they go home when the sun sets.

I really liked Fun in the Sun because it is funny and about a dog. I really like dogs. My favorite part was the end when we see he forgot his sunscreen and his body is all pink except where he had his bathing suit on. This book was really easy for me to read on my own. The illustrations were bright colors, detailed, and they show you more things going on in the story than what is just written. I think other kids would like Fun in the Sun and they would think it would be funny.
