From Shore to Ocean Floor is nothing like I was expecting! It is jam-packed with so much information and history on oceans! Do you know how old the ocean is? Or how boats have changed throughout history? Can you name a famous marine biologist? If your answer is no to any of those questions, just read this really fun and informative book.

My favorite part is learning the ocean is broken down into different sections based on the amount of light it receives according to the depth, and different animals live in various different sections. My favorite animal in the book is the deep-sea angler fish! The oceans are very important and we can learn so much from them but only a small amount has been explored.

I recommend this book for anyone looking to dive-in to learn more about oceans!
