Explore the Cosmos like Neil deGrasse Tyson: A Space Science Journey

The book, Explore the Cosmos Like Neil DeGrasse Tyson, is all about the universe, and lots of stuff that is in the universe. When I read this book, I learned that, “this is not a book about being an astronaut and going into space, it is about becoming a space scientist and studying about the stars.” This book discusses Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who is a famous astrophysicist. “By age eleven, he knew that he wanted to be an astrophysicist, a scientist who studies all the objects in the Universe, including planets, moons, comets, asteroids, stars, and the space in between.” There are black-and-white illustrations in this book that are pictures of Tyson at different ages. There are also pictures of stars and planets in space. I enjoyed reading about when Neil was younger, and how he became an astrophysicist. My favorite chapter was, “A Space Scientist Grows Up.” Boys and girls who like science and space will want to read this book. I really liked finding out how Neil got to learn about space.
