Elfie Unperfect

Elfie Unperfect is an interesting book. It is about Elfie, a young girl about to start school again. Last school year she said her goodbyes to everyone at her school because she was going to be going to a prestigious school. When the first day came, Elfie was in for some trouble. She tried to save a boy from getting in trouble but he got mad at her and told the principal. Expelled on the first day of school was not Elfie’s plan at all. When she discovers that she will have to go back to Cottonwood, her old elementary school, Elfie will have to find a way to fit in there and try to make some friends help her cover up the real reason she is back.

This book was a nice read. Children in elementary school might like it. This book is great for advanced third graders. It is full of interesting, relatable characters that anybody would enjoy. While younger readers may enjoy this book, I do not think it would really hold the interest of students in middle school or higher. Still, Elfie Unperfect is a great book.
