Don’t Judge a Lizard by His Scales

The book is about Danny the Wizard Lizard who asks Mrs. Fly to be Bli the Fly’s friend. Mrs. Fly doesn’t want them to be friends because some lizards eat flies. Danny the Wizard Lizard asks Mrs. Fly and Bli the Fly to go to the movies to show that he is a nice lizard. Outside the movie theatre they run into the LLG, the Lousy Lizard Gang who is mean to the Fly. Then Danny the Wizard Lizard slimes the LLG. All the bugs cheer and the LLG are sad because they can’t see the movie so Mrs. Fly asks Bli the Fly to give them a t-shirt so they can have one more chance to be nice.

I like the book. I like that everybody got to go to the movies, even the LLG. I like when Danny the Wizard Lizard told his friends “Don’t worry, you’re safe with me” and he slimed the LLG lizards. It was funny! The lesson from the book is that you should stand up to bullies but still always be nice.
