Descendants: Junior Novel

These Descendants are actually children of some fairy tale villains. Evie is the daughter of the Evil Queen, which reminds me of another story called Ever After High. My favorite character is Mal, who is the daughter of Maleficent. The boy characters from Descendants are Jay who is the son of the villain Jafar and Carlos who is the son of Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians. I think it is cool to see characters whose parents are from different movies. One part of the book says, “The four were rotten to the core after all.” I got Mal’s Diary which is another book from this series. I haven’t seen the movie of Descendants yet, but I want to see it very much. Two of my friends at church dressed up like Mal and Evie for the Fall Festival.

I think this book has a lot of scary things that happen! It is an exciting story. “Mal flipped open her spell book, found a page, looked through the window at the guard, and began to incant: ‘Magic spindle, do not linger. Make my victim prick a finger…” There are also photographs of scenes from the movie. This is an interesting book!
