Cupcake Cousins, Book 2: Summer Showers

I think that the book Cupcake Cousins, Book 2 Summer Showers is a great book! It is the second book in the series. The cousins (Willow and Delia) are together for the Summer and they are cooking up a surprise for Aunt Rosie’s baby shower. But Willow hurts her hand so everyone starts doubting her. But Wilow doesn’t care and she cooks anyway.

Willow and Delia decide to make the desserts yellow because the theme of the party is yellow. They make cookies, banana pops and even cupcakes that look like ice cream. Delia and Willow entered the cupcakes in a contest but they got disqualified because Delia’s ring was in a cupcake that the judge ate. They were disappointed that they didn’t win.

Everyone was excited when the baby shower finally started. The desserts looked absolutely delicious! Darlene (Delia’s big sister) and Violet (Willow’s big sister) did a song and everybody loved it. Aunt Rosie went into labor so she had to go to the hospital. When she came back, she brought three small, adorable, little newborns. Their names are June, July and August!

I think that Cupcake Cousins, Book 2 Summer Showers is a great book for ages 7-11.
