Cool Beans: The Further Adventures of Beanboy is a book about a kid named Tucker MacBean. His little brother named Beecher wanted a red and gold helmet from a sports store, but a mean jock stole it from him. Then, the art clubs bulletin board got taken away from them by the girl’s basketball team. After that, the art club wanted to have more people so they could have the bulletin board back. They decided to do a presentation. That also got cut short. All in all, the art club was having a bad week. Then the dodgeball competition began. The prize was the red and gold baseball helmet Beecher wanted. Of course Tucker signed up, but he didn’t tell the art club he was signing them up. He also needed 14 players and only had 9. Then he started making Beanboy comics to recruit people and got nice players. So, after getting his team and practicing, they got really good.

I liked this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes a good story. I think it is a good story because since the prize is the helmet Beecher wants and anyone who wins on Tucker’s team would give it to Beecher.
