Little lion is in the savannah and wants to play catch with all the other animals: the grasshopper, the bird, the frog, the rabbit, the zebra, the chameleon. But no one will let little lion catch them. They are just too fast, or they are able to hop away or fly away, and they disappear into the grass or trees (the chameleon just disappears by changing color). Then little lion tries the hardest animal to catch: the rhinoceros. He doesn’t know at first, but he soon finds out that it is a bad, bad idea. The rhino tries to catch him instead with a mean face. Little lion runs away, and this time he’s the one that can’t be found. We can only see his little tail pricking out of the grass while he hides away.

This book was okay. The drawings were nice, with lots of plants and flowers and colors. The action wasn’t too exciting.
