Animal Planet Polar Animals (Animal Bites Series)

I think that Animal Bites Polar Animals is a great book.

It is about the different kinds of polar animals. There are polar bears, seals, walruses, penguins, and lots of other different animals. There are lots of cool facts about all of the different animals. Some of the animals were extremely adorable, like the arctic hare and the harp seal pup, and some looked disgusting, like the octopus. However, all of them were very interesting. Even though it isn’t the longest book, and it doesn’t even have 100 pages, I did learn quite a bit about some of these animals. The most surprising thing that I learned is that walruses weigh 2,000 pounds more than polar bears! I was also surprised that there is a penguin that is either my height or or an inch taller (4 ft) and about 10 lbs heavier than me (80 lbs)!

My favorite part is the page with all of the seals, sea lions, and walruses. I especially loved the harp seal pup! I also found out that some seals, sea lions, and walruses kiss each other! It looked so cute! I also loved the page with all the walruses huddled together. It was so weird yet so cute! There were so many cute pictures!

I personally loved Animal Bites Polar Animals, and it is one of my favorite books. I love animals, and I think that people just like me would love this book. It isn’t to long so it won’t take forever to read. I think that this is an amazing book, and I recommend it for ages 6-9.
