Across a War Tossed Sea by L.M. Elliot is an excellent and beautiful companion to Across a War-Torn Sky. This book is beautiful and it has lots of wonderful descriptions and colorful verbs with the perfect amount of emotion to make it a hard-hitting book. The book has a lot of action and I like that it shows what World War II did and changed lives to many people. This book is very touching and heartwarming as it really proves that WWII really drove people into such a way and sacrificed so much just to keep their next generation to enjoy and live happily. This book has some wonderful messages about perseverance, hard work, and to maintain confidence even during the hard times. The book is so colorful and crystal-clear that it really astonishes me that such a book could have been written. L.M Elliot is an excellent author and the book will really give you a lot of sympathy throughout the book and will give you a jumping thrill. This book is clearly excellent, and recommended for ages 10-13
