A Dolphin Wish
I think that A Dolphin Wish is a great book. It is about twins Mia and Maddie and their little sister, Lulu. They go to San Diego with their nanny, Miss Julia, their dad, and their mom, who is also a famous singer, Gloria Glimmer.
The girls go to Captain Swashbuckler’s Adventure Park and rode some rides and looked at some animals. Mia wanted to swim with the dolphins, but all of them were either sick or hurt. You can’t swim with a sick or hurt dolphin.
While the girls were at the theme park, they found out that some of the animals were going missing. In the previous book, London Art Chase, Maddie had already solved a mystery. Now, it was Mia’s turn to solve a mystery. Mia decided to look for clues while they were still there. She looked around, but she didn’t find much.
Somehow, Mia kept convincing everyone to keep coming back over and over and over again to keep looking for clues. Mia became so caught up in solving the mystery that she got in a big fight with Maddie and they stayed mad at each other. Despite the fight with Maddie, Mia still wanted to solve the mystery, so she kept going.
After a good long while, Mia finally gets enough info to report the person who did it. After a long talk with her mom, Mia finally convinces her to go back one more time to report who was letting the animals out. When that was done, Mia apologized to Maddie and since she wanted it so badly, Mia got to swim with the dolphins.
A Dolphin Wish is a very interesting and fun book. It has no inappropriate content like drugs so I like that. I think that the name would appeal to kids around my age so I recommend this book for ages eight to eleven.
