I love these books because they are shorter chapter books and I can finish them in just a day or two. I love birds, so I knew I would enjoy this one! Right away, I knew I would be interested in this book because I have a friend whom I have been friends with since I was a toddler.

I got a little scared when the fog came in. I could close my eyes and feel like I was in Callie’s place. When Cookie was learning to fly, I felt like I was right in the book. I think the author did a great job describing all of the parts of the book. It kept me on the edge of my seat! Oh, I wish I could have an adventure like Callie! I don’t know if her adventure was real or not, but I will believe it was!

The pencil drawings are some of my favorite I have seen in a long time. They are so detailed and I kept getting lost in all the details of them. I love all the books in this series and I think the whole series would be AWESOME to get as a gift!
