10 Spooky Pumpkins

I like Ten Spooky Pumpkins because it helps you with counting from ten down to one. In the book, it starts with ten pumpkins looking for some cats, and they found nine. Then the cats were looking for a bat, and they found eight. What is happening in the story is that the things are looking for something else, and they always find one less. At the end, the things get together and dance. I like this part because almost everything from the whole book is there.

The way that the characters are drawn is different from how I’ve seen things drawn before. I like the drawings because they are all Halloweeny. My favorite page was the cats, and my younger brother liked the goblins. We have both requested our mom to read this book to us a lot since we’ve gotten it, but we can both almost read the whole book ourselves.
