Everyone Prays: Celebrating Faith Around the World
People of different religions are praying all over the world in different places with different things. The book has cartoonish pictures that are pretty and colorful, and they are very good at showing the different ways people pray. I liked the pictures and the descriptions of the pictures at the back of the book. My favorite part of the pictures was the wildlife. In one picture, there is a man in the water with a really long, white beard and that was funny. A younger kid will like that the words are easy. I didn’t learn much about the different religions, but there is more information in the back of the book. I did learn that some people pray in the water, which is different from how I pray. Even though the book is thin, it still has some pretty interesting things. I would recommend this book to children under the age of eight.
