Fox: A Circle of Life Story
Fox: A Circle of Life Story</em< by Isabel Thomas, illustrated by Daniel Egnéus, is a book that answers the following question: “Where do animals go when they die?” The plot was interesting and it made me want to keep reading. Overall, it teaches children about life and death, and about how death can be an opportunity rather than a scary thing.
I liked the illustrations because they fit with what was happening in the story. The illustrations of the foxes and plants were the perfect size on paper, and they helped me understand how to picture them.
When I was reading the book, it reminded me of a quote from my teacher: “Don’t be scared, be prepared.”
I would recommend this book, and I think it would be good for children who like animals.
