The Poison Jungle (Wings of Fire, Book 13)
This is the thirteenth book in the Wings of Fire series. The book is focused on Sundew, a dragon who is a Leafwing. She is going back home to the Poison Jungle with her friends Blue, Swordtail, Cricket, and the dragonet Bumblebee. The Leafwings hide after the Tree Wars (the war between Queen Wasp and the Hivewings and Queen Sequoia and the Leafwings). In the jungle, Sundew and her friends go on a quest to find Hawthorn, a Leafwing who was sent deep into the jungle to find an antidote for the breath of evil (a plant that Queen Wasp uses to mind-control Hivewings). Will they find Hawthorn (and hopefully the antidote) in time to save the Leafwings from Wasp’s mind-controlled army?
I loved this book, and I wish I could give it one-hundred stars! It was exciting, funny, very entertaining, suspenseful, and just plain awesome. I like how in this book, there is a guide to the different tribes that live on Pantala, like Silkwings, Hivewings, and Leafwings. I have been waiting for this book for a long time, and it was every bit as good as I wanted it to be!
