Unicorn Club
Have you ever had a unicorn club, but no one came? Well, Amy started one, but there were only a few guests who showed up: unicorns. And they talked! Together they had so much fun–they did arts and crafts and even ate snacks together. Suzy made the characters so full of life. Like Amy for example, she is just an ordinary kid full of imagination. The story was well written and flowed smoothly. Each sentence rolled off my tongue easily. Suzy emphasized that for a club you don’t always need friends, you can always just use your imagination. The illustrator of this book, Leire Martin, did a great job of illustrating the book. I love that she drew the unicorns. The colors really popped out of the pages. I think this is a great beginners book for just-learning-to-read readers. This is also a great book for everyone. It is just a great entertaining book for anyone. Even though the book was great, it was not a series type of book. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. It was just such a great book that I couldn’t wait for the next page.
