Sleepy, the Goodnight Buddy
Sleepy, the Goodnight Buddy is about a boy named Roderick who doesn’t like to go to sleep. He always asked for a pony, but he never got a pony. One day, his Mom gave him a goodnight buddy named Sleepy who’s supposed to help him sleep. So one night the parents put Sleepy in bed with him. He tried to put Sleepy everywhere to stop him from staring at him. He tossed him in the closet, but Sleepy peeked out and said, “Wait, don’t leave me here.” Sleepy asked to do so many things before going to sleep. Roderick was exhausted so he just went to sleep in the end. Sleepy said, “Goodnight buddy.” He did his job.
I liked the part where Sleepy needed many things to go to sleep, like brush his teeth and go pee because it was funny and it made me laugh. I liked the illustrations.
