Father Christmas and Me
Father Christmas and Me, is a magical book about Amelia, who was adopted by newlyweds Father and Mary Christmas. Amelia is taking classes in elf school like toy making, singing, spickle dancing, and other elven subjects. A human like her has a hard time fitting in. She also faces Father Voldol and his newspaper, The Daily Truth, which always prints lies about her family. Voldol is banned from writing but still finds ways to prints his news. The paper always creates a lot of anger between elves and humans. Amelia tries to find the root of the problem and finds out about the war between the rabbits and elves, many years ago. Together with the truth pixie, she finds out that Father Voldol and the evil rabbits are trying to end Christmas, so they must figure out a way to stop them.
I have read every other book in this series and loved them all because they are so magical and fun to read. This is also a great read-aloud during the holidays for anyone seven and up.
