I am Sonia Sotomayor
I Am Sonia Sotomayor is about Sonia getting her dream come true. I love the book because Sonia worked very hard in her school. I thought she was brave when she applied to Princeton because she wanted to go to Princeton. Princeton is the opposite of where she lived; she was poor. Sonia made me think about me doing things that she did, like applying to a very fancy college, fulfilling my dream about becoming a lawyer and trying to beat up bullies because her brother was bullied. I love this book because it’s educational. I learned that I should read a lot because Sonia reads a lot. I also like reading, and I want to be like her. Besides I Am Jane Goodall, this one is my favorite in the series. I love Christopher Eliopoulos’ drawings because they are adorable. My favorite part was when Sonia eats raw onions and peppers out of the blender; her Mom goes crazy. It was funny. I recommend this book to anyone who likes comic books and educational books, anyone who likes RBG (Ruth Bader Ginsburg), anyone who is always very brave, and to strong girls like Sonia.
