Mama Lion Wins the Race

The book is about a car race. Mama Lion and Tigey are the main characters. The other characters in the race are pandas, monkeys, a bunny, and a turtle. In the race, Mama Lion and Tigey’s racecar’s wheel fell off because they stopped for a butterfly. The pandas, who are good at fixing cars, stopped to help them fix their car. While they were fixing the car, the others passed them by. At the end of the race, there is a surprise winner.

I like the pictures, especially the way the animals are drawn. They look like stuffed animals. They are very colorful. It’s also a funny story…for example, the bunny throwing seeds…and coming back to water them.
