The Thrifty Guide to the American Revolution: A Handbook for Time Travelers
First of all, I liked the book The Thrifty Guide to the American Revolution. It was cool that they made it kid-friendly. I liked the topic. The Battle of Bunker Hill is one of my favorite battles. Just the thought of it; these guys fought for our freedom! I also read about how if you get shot by a musket, you call the doctor, and then the doctor comes over and amputates your leg while a drummer beats on the drums to distract you from the pain. They’re like, all right, you are screaming, let’s stop it, bum, bum, bum. So, overall, it’s a cool book. I think it’s a good way to learn and include random facts and humor. Overall, I give it four out of five stars. Thank you.
