How the Finch Got His Colors

The book is about how the finch got his colors. In the beginning, there were no colors…only gray. It rained for a lot of days, and then after it stopped raining, there was a rainbow…and the rainbow gave colors to all the birds.

I like the book because it was interesting. My favorite part was when the rainbow appeared. It was cool that the rainbow gave the colors.

I learned that sometimes if you wait, you will get good things…like the finch, which became the most beautiful bird in the world. I like the pictures. There were a lot of colors. It made me want to pick up the book and read the story.

I would recommend this book because it is pretty and it has a good story. Some of the words were kind of hard. But the story made sense.
