Little Fox in the Forest
A little girl takes her favorite toy, a stuffed fox, to show-and-tell at school. On her way home, she stops at the playground to swing. A real, small fox from the nearby forest sees the toy and decides to take it! The little girl chases the fox into the forest to get her toy back.
As the little girl searches the forest, other forest animals come to help her. In particular, a bear remembers seeing the fox and tells the little girl where to go.
This book does not have any words. But the author does a great job of telling an entire, interesting story through pictures. Some of the pages have panels similar to comic books (many pictures in a row).
Overall, I liked the story. I was nervous to see if the little girl would get her toy back from the fox. I won’t tell you what happens, but the end is very sweet! The pictures are also very well done. Not all of them are in color, but I still enjoyed “reading” the story through the pictures!
