The Only Thing Worse Than Me Is You
Trixie has been friends with Harper and Meg since kindergarten, but this is her last year at the Messina Academy for the Gifted, and not only does she have the pressure of trying to be top in the ranks, her friends are boy crazy, and her arch nemesis, Ben Kenneth, is being super annoying as usual. But soon she’ll be going off to college, where she’ll be far away from Ben, her boy-crazy friends, and her over-protective parents. Ben and Trixie have been enemies since kindergarten, when they were playing on the playground and Ben pushed her off the monkey bars. Ever since then they have hated each other. Trixie will do anything to pass Ben in the rankings, even if she doesn’t get in first.
I enjoyed reading The Only Thing Worse than Me is You. I liked the characters, and I loved how it mentioned geeky comics and fandoms and that the book was from a geek/nerd girl’s point of view. This book is mysterious, witty, suspenseful, and I like it a lot.
