When Albert finds out the Realm of Ponderay is becoming out of balance, he and his friends begin training to be prepared for all the dangers. They realize that Argon, the other team training, has gotten better, but someone has been following them and listening to everything they’ve been doing. When they tell Albert’s dad, Professor Flynn, that his apprentice, Trey, has been following them, Professor Flynn tells there are three master tiles, and Trey is trying to make sure that Albert’s tile doesn’t get stolen.

This book has practically the same plot as the first book, except in a different realm and with more people, but I really liked it anyway. Even if you haven’t read the first book, you can get to know the characters and know what’s going on. It was fun to think of all the possibilities of who might have been stealing the master tiles, and to know that every one of the Flynn’s had a master tile. I liked reading about the world of Ponderay and all its dangers; I also liked figuring out the mysteries before they did. This is an exciting, excellent, and absolutely mysterious addition to the series.
