A Week without Tuesday (Tuesday Mcgillcuddy Adventures)
This eleven-year-old girl named Tuesday McGillycuddy plans to spend her summer eating pancakes and typing her stories. And that’s how her summer vacation starts. But then one day, real and imaginary lands collide and Tuesday and her dog Baxterr have to go on a quest to save the magical place from where stories come. | |A Week Without Tuesday by Angelica Banks is the second book in this fantasy series. Tuesday is a high-energy girl. She changes as the story goes along. At first she thinks the world revolves around her but then she learns that it doesn’t and that there are more important things in life. She’s a very likeable character and you cheer her on as you want her to succeed. The book is a little confusing if you haven’t read her first adventure Finding Serendipity, but for the most part you can piece it together. She finds strength she didn’t know that she had and makes new friends.
This book would be good for young readers who like fantasy and are eight to eleven years old.
