The Adventures of Shola
A dog named Shola has many adventures. She decides to do one thing, but then decides she doesn’t want to do it, and she goes on many adventures. She goes wild boar hunting—she thinks they are called sheep boar, and they look like sheep only they are black. She figures out what a real boar looks like and then decides to go home! In another adventure, her aunt, Aunt Clementine, comes over. Shola thinks that she (herself) likes being messy, but it turns out that when she sees her Aunt Clementine being messy, she doesn’t like being messy. Once she lies to everyone about being a lioness. She runs away because she thinks she will hunt for her own food, but then she comes back, because she can’t find any!
This book is about learning things and figuring out what you really don’t or do like. It is easy to read, and it is exciting and has a lot of adventures that keep me wanting to read it. Shola is very silly and funny because she only has her imagination so she thinks she knows something, but when she sees it for real, she changes her mind!
