Win the Rings
Jace has spent all of her life, since she was five, in a government facility training to be their greatest weapon. When she was five, she took a test for entering preschool, and the government discovered she was a Shifter, someone able to take the forms of others. She was taken to a military base where she trained and fought just to survive. Now, she’s the fiercest and strongest fighter the army has, but she is willing to do anything to get free. So when the general offers her an opportunity to get free, she immediately accepts. Jace collects a team of the best Shifters to chase down Runners, Shifters hiding from the military. Jace is sent after Gray, who has been running with his sister Nia since he was five. Jace isn’t the only one tracking him. As Jace and Gray cross paths, they must choose who they will fight for and what they will give up for survival.
I liked this book, but the language was frequently coarse. Otherwise I enjoyed it. The alternating views between Jace and Gray provide good contrast.
