Return to Planet Tad is going to be bigger than that book about that kid with a diary. See, already forgotten. Tad is almost fourteen and likes to blog. Sometimes they’re really short entries, other times he fills them with a lot of detail. Blogging may sound boring to most kids, but Tad writes about all of the crazy things in his life, including using lefty scissors when you’re right handed, Head & Shoulders Shampoo is not for washing back hair, and #2 pencils should really be called #1, since everybody uses them.

Each blog entry has a header with the date and an emoji telling you Tad’s feelings. Around the entries are tons of sketches that show something he is doing or thinking about and they add a lot of character and feeling to his life as a teenager. Most teens and tweens will easily relate to Tad as growing up is filled with awkward moments, most best forgotten. If you haven’t read the first book, no worries, because this book is a perfect standalone read. I think all ages would enjoy reading this book!
