Awesome Robot Science Fiction Action Comix: The Ketchup Book (Chapters 1-4)

I don’t know why it’s called “The Ketchup Book.” There’s not a lot of ketchup in it. It has robots, aliens, and a talking toaster. Dennis is a robot. He battles an alien with hotdogs. His rocket crashes. I like how the computer says “Thirty seconds to impact. Five seconds to impact.” Then, when it hits, “Impact.” That is funny. Bad guys live on the planet. They put Dennis in prison, because they have a rule “No Robots.” Dennis escapes. The bad guys send balloons with vicious teeth after him. Dennis uses a cactus to pop them. That is funny also. He falls off a cliff. (He gets a butt dent.) He meets a toaster who made an outhouse teleporter. They don’t have enough money to get home, so they work in a coffee shop. It is a cliffhanger. I don’t like cliffhangers.

This book is kind of weird. There is stuff in between the story. They teach you stuff like “Eat vegetables. They’ll give you laser vision.” I don’t like the interruptions. The drawings are sort of cute. I think flightless birds will peck the book and use it for a nest. That’s what birds do. I think it’s nice the daddy made this story for his kid’s lunch at school.
