Rocket and Groot: Keep on Truckin’!
Rocket is a raccoon. Groot is a tree. Vernonica is a totally awesome tape dispenser. (She’s like a ninja robot tape dispenser.) They are part of the superheroes called the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Rocket’s spaceship, the Rakk ’n’ Ruin, runs out of gas. They land on planet Happyhappyfunfun. Immediately, they start to get run over by trucks. They get blown up and land in Debbie-Don’s Dance Dojo. Then, they escape to H.F. Happy Tooth. There are a bunch of sweets and corn syrup in the store. They meet Bobby Sprinkles, Jr. They find out Big Mama is a computer controlling all the self-driving cars. She is crazy because she downloaded a bunch of racing movies. Will Rocket get gas for his spaceship? Will Groot grow his limbs back? Will Veronica dispense some tape? Will Big Mama defeat our heroes? Read the book to find out.
This book is funny. It’s written with a lot of detail. The pictures are funny. It’s cute when Groot is a baby tree. This book is not as good as the first Rocket and Groot book. It’s drawn differently. People who like Guardians of the Galaxy and superheroes will like this book. I’ll read more books in this series. It has a great ending.
